Usually the pictures on this blog are taken with a Canon 5D with lenses that are capable of razor-thin depth of field. The sharpness of the shots and the great transmission of color and the appealing use of contrast through editing makes for what people call “nice pictures.”
But today’s picture is a shot taken with a 2MP Camera on my LG Voyager with no editing at all. Light is everything.
I just really like this picture because of the beautiful natural afternoon light. It was truly awesome walking back through campus and seeing this light peering through, almost like it was trying to get my attention without being too blatant. It’s hard to explain. It was just right.
